Not your usual Instagram food porn picture is it?  Many people would describe this night snack as boring. In fact, most of the food I have to eat is what the majority would consider boring. But ED means I don't care... Since Janine took over I no longer enjoy food, it doesn't really taste of anything. I don't eat because I'm hungry because I've no longer got an appetite... I eat the foods that are on a list, at the times I am told to eat them. Often, when something is particularly difficult to eat I go into "robot mode" which means just powering through.... This is not the function food should serve. It should be enjoyed, it should be communal, it should be exciting... Enjoy your food... Happy happy Monday!! • Remember this week that you’re worthy of happiness and loving yourself! We get so caught up with comparing ourselves to others and judging your progress with how we look on the outside. It’s important to listen to how you’re feeling mentally. • I’m going to be turning this account into more of mental health than physical. I am still working on my fitness journey, but I am gearing it more towards my mental health. • I have started eating and working out more intuitively. Working out because I want to not because I have to. Eating healthy the majority of the time, but not feeling guilty for splurging on something. • Listen to yourself and do what makes you happy!! Stop focusing on other’s lives and live your own! Make your life the best it can be and do things that are fulfilling!

Woke up grumpy and not in the mood to do anything. Got to the gym and felt intimidated and out of place amongst the dudebros and loud manager who kept trying to talk to me. When you have ptsd noise and movement can be super draining.
