This is my "Mindful Monday" post. I pulled this card for all of you. It's from the Nature's Whispers Oracle card deck from Angela Hartfield and Josephine Wall. I hope in some way you can relate to it and it makes you think how to be more mindful of your thoughts and actions as you go through your week. This card is calling you to change your thoughts, emotions and your outlook to a new perspective. Think about what's going on with you in your life right now and shift your perspective and it will help you see the situation a little more clearly. We tend to get caught up in our emotions and how we see a situation that we can't see it as clearly as we would if we weren't emotionally involved. Take a step back and look at it with fresh eyes so to speak. Try and make an effort to rise above to try and heal it. This may be something that has happened in the past and is still not resolved or something that is happening now. Once you achieve a higher ground and look at the situation from a different perspective you may find that you are filled with peace and understanding. What a beautiful outcome to be able to achieve. When was the last time you went through with something despite the fear and doubt? Such moments to me are beautiful because they show courage. They are testament to the fact that, doubt is only there to derail you. I think there are two types of doubt: The good doubt and the bad doubt. The good doubt is the one that keeps you safe, keeps you from saying something you probably shouldn't. It basically monitors you and lets you know "Hey, I don't think this is right and usually at that moment in time its not". Then, there's the bad doubt. This one is more like an overprotective villain. It wants to protect you but it also doesn't think you're good enough. This is the doubt that you need to kick to the curb. This one is wanted all over the world for having killed soo many dreams and ambitions. Yet, it's still roaming free. The next time it visits you, you'll be tempted to listen to what it has to say but you've got to fight it and let it know that you've got everything under control 👌 #unfilteredthoughts#mindfulmondays
It's unhealthy and exhausting to give so much power to self-depreciating thoughts. To get caught up in how we feel inadequate. To obsess over what we think we lack. We zoom into our flaws criticizing ourselves to a point where we feel uncomfortable in our own skin. But in reality, EVERYONE is insecure about something and that raw vulnerability is what makes us especially beautiful. ⠀ ⠀ You have everything you need inside of you to do whatever it is you want to do.
