Sunday #goals! Meal prepping is one of my favorite things (once I get into the groove)! Many can find it vosrhelming, no sure where to start or what to even make. My BIGGEST TiPS: ▪️Keep it simple ▪️Prep proteins in big batches & set aside in a container for the week ▪️eggs & spinach sautéed are a LIFESAVER for breakfast ▪️Prep carbs (whole wheat pastas, quinoa, etc) also in big batches & store in a container so all we have to do is pull together this in a meal to meet our servings for the day ▪️eat more veggies & proteins VS carbs - will keep up fuller longer ▪️plan for carbs in first half of the day so our body has time to digest ▪️Store cut & portioned veggies in grab bags Any questions? Tried doing 80 Day Cardio Core (day 3) - got about half way through and switched to yoga. My calf is so tight and sore from the mega cramp I got running yesterday- I’ve NEVER had a charley horse like this. Doing the jump rope type moves was a no-go for this calf. . I’m going to do another workout tomorrow - try AAA, day 4, and hope that the calf continues to loosen up so I can run Tuesday. . It’s a good reminder that even thought working out is tough- it’s a blessing. Being injured sucks way more than pushing your body when you’re healthy! . Now on to a shower, meal prep and heading to a birthday party for one of Zeke’s classmates. Then picking up some sheets for our NEW KING SIZED BED! We’ve wanted one for so long and finally saved enough up to get it!
It’s called the HALO glow. I call it the mommy miracle 💗 Motherhood. It can cause some collateral damage in the beauty department. Ha! The affects of loving hard...so very hard...they are real. It’s a constant chaos & momma doesn’t always get to take care of herself.
