Warsaw's established museum scene gained a very special member in 2014, when the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews opened its doors to the public. The winning architectural concept was by Finnish team Lahdelma & Mahlamäki who created the modern new building, which was meant to blend with the background, being in a perfect symbiosis with the statues and green area around. We were enchanted by the architecture and deeply impressed by the permanent exhibition that leads the visitors through over one thousand years of Polish Jews history.
