My skin essentials for 48hrs in snowy, cold Minnesota. It’s 24degrees F and the heater is cranked to high, but luckily I came prepared with clothing layers and skincare layers. ________ #drbarbarasturm#teamsturm Face Scrub (thank you @_fortheloveofskincare_ love for sending this to me! 😘), HA serum and face cream. #mvskincare Rose Oil Hydration Boost #eugenia 100% Pure Shea Butter #infiore Source D’eclat Eye Serum - I’ve been testing this eye serum for a while. It’s taken me a bit to assess what I think of it because the results are a slow build, but I’m finding it’s worth it the wait. Full review coming soon. #ritueldefille Rare Light Luminizer (thanks @thedetoxmarket ) _______ Swipe Left for MN snow scenes. Gotta love Minnesotans shoveling snow in shorts 😂. And the best alphabet baby book my girlfriend @el.lawrence19 gave us this morning at our MN baby shower. ✨❤️☺️🤰🏻#feelingloved
Part of a new hair journey entails experimenting with new hair products. Sometimes you hit the jackpot and sometimes it’s a total fail. However, if you feel it was a fail don’t dismiss a product you’ve only taken for a ride once. Try it alone, in conjunction with a another product or switch the order of your product application. You may be surprised. ⠀ ⠀ This product combination here was 😍 to my hair. My flat twits were juicy and plumped. @Soultanicals @unclefunkysdaughter ⠀ ⠀
A few of my favorite things.. a good candle (let’s be real, we ordered this for @whatsyourremedy bc the lid was too cute and then ended up being a best seller), a book to channel the interior designer I wish I was, and of course a little wisdom!
Are you caring for the skin around your eyes the way you should? Here some reason if you dont. why you should. The skin around the eyes is more fragile, more prone to dryness, and quicker to show age and fatigue. Being ten times thinner than any other area of the body. This thin skin gets even thinner over time as we lose collagen, and is the first area to start showing signs of aging. Squinting and constant movement of the eyes also hasten the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and fluids collect under the eyes and cause puffiness and dark circles. Ways to combat this is to get lots of sleep 8 hours a night but honestly who get all the sleep they need... Another key solution is suitable eyecare product which usually comes in two forms eye cream or eye balm. Choosing between an eye balm and an eye cream is an important first step to finding an appropriate eye product. Creams often lack the gentle touch needed to approach the skin around eyes. This is partly due to the fact that the majority of creams contain 70 to 80 percent water. Although moisturizing for the skin, this large amount of water requires the use of irritating thickeners, preservatives, and other unnatural additives. This leaves the active ingredients, healing vitamins and oils, to make up less than a fifth of the formula. These harmful ingredients make a cream less than an ideal candidate to choose to rub around your eyes. While the high percentage of water may sufficiently hydrate the skin, it leaves little room for active ingredients to do their jobs of healing and protecting the area. Natural eye balms do it better job. The main difference between balms and creams is that a balm does not require the use of water. This allows a balm to be 100 percent natural, containing only the ingredients that serve to protect and moisturize the delicate skin. In contrast with creams, a balm is typically wax-based, allowing the concentrated ingredients to form a protective barrier on the skin.
