One of the most important things we can do for our health is hydrate. Our bodies produce an average of 7 liters of digestive juices daily. When we don’t drink enough liquid, our secretions are more limited and the digestive process is inhibited. Inadequate hydration can also promote the storage of inflammatory toxins, which can also promote weight gain. So drink up.
Definitely my new favourite snack!! Super delicious coconut, pistachio & lemon bars. RECIPE Ingredients: Base 1 cup dates 1/2 cup coconut, desiccated 1/2 cup almonds, unsalted 1/2 cup pistachios, unsalted 2 Tbs grapeseed oil 1/2 tsp cinnamon Pinch of salt Filling 2 cups unsalted cashews, soaked overnight in water 1 cup coconut cream 1 1/2 cups coconut, desiccated 3 lemons, juiced 1 lemon zest 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/4 cup honey Line square baking tin with baking paper. Blend all base ingredients, scoop into baking tin and place in freezer. Blend all filling ingredients till smooth. Poor onto base and place in freezer for at least 5 hours. Take out of freezer and cut into squares.
