Sage is hands down one of our favourite all time herbs, we have it with our eggs in the morning… our chicken for lunch… or in our gorgeous burgers, pastas, pizza… in short - it adds so much amazing flavour! … The beauty of sage is that it not only tastes awesome, it soothes digestive issues & heartburn, helps with mental concentration, attention span & memory as well as eyesight & menstrual problems…. oh… & its essential oil contains ketones – not too shabby right!! … Make sure you plant your sage in a sunny position & it’s usually ready to harvest in around 2 months! #growyourown#nourishment

Swooning over these sweet golden beets that came in my @imperfectproduce box this week💛 I especially love that I didn’t even have to cook them - just peel, slice, throw and scarf👌• • • • **Big bowl of organic spinach with purple and green cabbage, parsley, sprouted quinoa, avocado, golden beets, pumpkin seeds, nutritional yeast, everything but the bagel seasoning and @traderjoes green goddess dressing.
Antioxidant smoothie: handful of frozen fruit (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, cherries, pomegranate), a cup of @almondbreeze unsweetened orginal almond milk, @wholefoods coconut, @traderjoes organic vanilla pea protein and topped with @foragerproject vanilla bean cashewgurt.
Refueling after an intense workout(s) this morning! I did my Cardio Flow 32/80, Strong by Zumba and then a 3.5 mile walk along the water with some train track walking....but this girl is hungry and this is DELISH 😋so good in fact I wanted to lick the plate 🤣anyone else feel that way sometimes about the food they eat??! 🤔 Turkey Burger Patty, 2 over easy eggs (cooked in butter), and 1/4 avocado with hot sauce and lime...My body processes protein and fats better than lots of veggies, nuts or beans (and wheat/gluten I don’t process at all and dairy is mostly a no too) sooooooo I’m embracing the journey I’m on and no gut pain or psoriasis flare ups so switching things up. #eattolivenotlivetoeat
