Red Raspberry Leaf | Red raspberry leaf does not taste like raspberries as the name suggests. It is more like a black tea, without the caffeine. The raspberry leaves are gathered in the spring before the plant's flowers have the highest content of antioxidants. The tea can be drank either hot or cold. Turning tea to a tonic, steep the leaves underneath the sun for a period of 24 hours in order to infuse the highest content of minerals, nutrients and vitamins into the water. When buying herbs, I always look for certified organic (Not just with herbs, but with everything 😉). I am beginning to buy in bulk. Mountain Rose Herbs sells organic red raspberry leaf from one ounce to one pound. They source their red raspberry leaf from Albania. I have been looking for a closer source, preferably from Pennsylvania. I drink mine with honey. The honey I use is local to me. It is called Bee Flower & Sun Honey Co. It is raw, meaning that it is not heated above temperatures found in a bee hive 🐝My favorite is their Blueberry Blossom. It adds a touch of sweetness. Honey cannot be compared to high fructose corn syrup or processed sugar. As the @medicalmedium puts it, "Honey is written into our lineage. Tonight dinner was soo good🤤🤤 garlic+rosemary pan seared wild king salmon, @congareeandpenn purple rice, and a goat cheese+pecan arugula salad dressed with garlic olive oil.
