I think those "refeed Saturdays" are starting to take effect. Just a word on Nutrition: For the most part to keep a balanced diet without counting or measures calories, I make sure I have 4-5 smaller portioned meals per day with the majority of my carbs pre and post workout. My protein still remains constant and high in all meals. On Saturdays I have "cheat days" or aka "refeed days" where I take in more CARBS not fats or proteins. Now because I limit my carbohydrates throughout the week, my body actually defends itself so to speak not used to so much simple sugars refined or natural and tries to deplete itself of excess by speeding up my metoblism ridding it of waste and "foreign" chemicals. I also still try to eat MORE complex starchy carbs which burn slower and allows my body to metobolise instead of being stored as fat. It also tends to give you a more "full" appearance especially when cutting. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT: if you are not used to rotating carbs or eating balanced with smaller portions. It's not necessary to have "cheat days" or refeed days right away. You might have to try eating clean and balanced for at least 3 weeks to rid your body of waste and excess sodium. THEN begin cheat meals ONCE every 2 weeks and as you get better, leaner and healthier, your body will become more effective in metobolising excess waste, you'll be able to enjoy a good cheat meal/day once or even twice per week. #gvfitness#conditioning#leangains#personaltraining#weighttraining#nutrition#diet#macros#cheatmeal#refeed#macros#proteins#fats#carbs#water#fitfam#instafit#gymlife#allday#gymrat#toronto#tdot#views#the6ix#theythirsty#ripped#swole#health#fitness#lifestyle#sundayfunday
