Pre & post-workout 💃🏻😫 Thanks a lot @cjmcfarland17 😏😂 Not complaining, just whining. I don't feel like I SHOULD workout. I know a lot of people feel like it's something they SHOULD do. I like it. Heck, I love it! I used to not like it. Working out doesn't feel like a chore anymore. I don't know if that's because I found an activity I enjoy (lifting) or because I found a greater purpose for being active (to get as strong as I possibly can). Until I found this, everything else felt like a chore. Pilates. Yoga. Spinning. I know a lot of you still come here for the fitness stuffs. (Thank you!) I know a lot of you WANT to workout and you WANT to enjoy it. You know it'll make you feel good. I don't know a magic trick. Just find something you like & stick with it. Try a bunch of new things. Try scary things. Then when you find it, keep it spicy by challenging yourself regularly. If or when you hit the point that it feels more like you SHOULD workout than a WANT to workout, then take a break! Why not?! Why force yourself to do something you don't want to do? If taking a break is scary, then give yourself specific parameters, like taking off only a month, or taking off a couple days a week. Vice versa, if you're trying something new, on your way to finding the workout of your dreams, same advice applies! Give it a month, or try it a couple days a week. Then re-evaluate. Again. Why not?
