#teambsn#sponsored Back to work 👊🏻 There was a hundred excuses why I could have skipped the gym today, not got back onto a meal plan... I got in at 4am, I’m tired and aching all overlike a mofo. But if I didn’t take control I would feel exactly the same tomorrow.. the same old cheesy quotes apply to the most experienced of gym goers aswell as the gym newbies.. Don’t put off tomorrow, what you can do today!

A different kind of transformation Tuesday for me and I've been debating whether to post something like this for a long time. 4 years between these photos and the transformation isn't just physical. The first image I was down-beaten, depressed, lacked any form of self confidence due to years of manipulation, control and domestic abuse. It was visible on my face and the way I carried myself no matter how hard I tired to hide it and act like everything was ok. Having Layton was the turning point for me to be a better, stronger version of me both physically and mentally. Fast forward 4 years and I am happy, confident, strong, independent and healthy. There is always a way out, no matter how tough the situation feels at the time. Things will get better if you find the courage to believe in yourself. #transformationtuesday#domesticviolenceawareness#believeinbetter#dvawareness#mentalhealthmatters
Working on the strength gains at @gravityfitness24hr. Haven't deadlifted for quite a while but was happy with my 100kg effort. I saw a video today of a lady deadlifting that caused quite a stir online. She had a really rounded back lifting some crazy weight like 180kg or something and was getting a lot of hateful comments online. Now she trains at recomp hq, and I did see another coach comment that this is completely safe, so it sounds like they know what they're doing, but Ive never been taught that way so can't comment. I guess it's like everything though, if you're not familiar with something if can seem strange if someone does something differently to you. Would I suggest clients round their back to that extent while deadlifting? No. Would I be willing to learn something new if a reputable coach tried to teach me something that could help my training? Of course. While it's good to be safe, it's also good to have an open mind.
Back on UK soil...missing that crazy heat! . Weigh in this morning, and in conclusion of living a life of a ‘normal’ person for a whole week, no Tupperware, no scales...I’m up 3 kilos...which I was utterly shocked at as I was betting on at least a stone! 👍😂 #cheerstothat . So here goes to shed that holiday fluff! 💪🏽 will I go onto a crazy keto diet...absafuckinglutely not! 😂 I’m no crazy fool! I’ll go back to exactly how I was before holiday...5 carb meals a day...only this time, the carbs have gone up! 😎 oh yeah!! My coach is the best coach 😘
