Here is the famous #westernwall or #wailingwall (although it’s referred to as the Western Wall in #israel). Why this Wall? What’s so special about it? In the Jewish Temple design, this wall was the THICKEST because it was the closest wall to the Holy of Holies, where the #arkofthecovenant resided, and therefore God’s presence. Many people come here to pray and leave their prayers points embedded in the TINY cracks within the surface of the wall. As with the Tomb of #kingdavid, this is also a #jewish Holy site and treated as such (men must wear a #kippah and women must have their heads & shoulders covered). There’s a two-handled washing cup to clean your hands before you approach (it makes sense when you’re there - trust me). It is also improper for you to back the wall as you leave it (so you walk backwards).

The decision to go on that journey was sparked by our studies with her at the festival last year. Your own personal pilgrimage can start at this years festival. She will touch your soul and expand your experience of your life!
