Happy Monday everyone 🎉🌝 started off my week with my first ever tempo run totalling in at 4 miles ! 🤗 i ran at a comfortable pace for around 5 mins and then pushed myself for around 30-60 seconds - none of this was timed exactly but was just roughly half estimating! Pace is remaining really consistent at the moment 👌🏻🏃🏼 Hope everyone else has a great start to their week 😘
Certainly did not feel “awesome” waking up this morning but I was so excited to get back to a group power class!! Aside from being gone from RDV, I hadn’t been able to go to this class for over a year because of marathon training or tri training or whatever other training I was doing. Right now it is very nice to just do the things I want, when I want, how I want and not have a plan of things I have to do. I think this is working much better for my mindset at the moment. I’m sure I’ll be back to planning and an official training plan at some point but for now I shall enjoy these things. I may even try to get a run or swim in this afternoon!
