As a mum, you must hear this a lot, right? Well, to an extent everyone's busy. Busy is a big part of our lives. Whether that's right or wrong, that's another story, but let's just say it's a part of life. But the thing is, when busy becomes frazzled, overwhelmed, rushed, unsettled, anxious, stressed, exhausted and even physically unwell, that's when we should stop . accepting that busy is a 'normal' part of life, right? And do something about it. Do something different. But what, though? Because after all, your life has to carry on. Someone has to work, the bills have to paid, the children need an education, and so on... So how do you change? How do you change busy from all those things to something that works better for you? That serves you better? . Personally, I've been working on this for a while now. And most of the time, I don't feel those things anymore (you know, frazzled, overwhelmed, rushed etc.) Sometimes I do, but when I notice I do, I try and reign things in. I know I've 'gone too far' or pushed too much, and try and adjust. Does life ever feel too rushed for you? What do you do to balance things out when this happens? . Today I asked Damon to take photos of me whilst we traipse around town doing lots of cute dates all in a row. I didn't entirely expect to like any of the photos, but it was more about being comfortable and relaxed in front of a camera. Thus far, I really like this one in particular. Maybe I don't have the ideal body. In fact, I know I don't, and it's something that has been gnawing away at my self confidence for a very long time. Photos are the absolute worst because they are proof that I'm everything I wish I wasn't. Except for this one. I really like this one.
