Boulders Not Shoulders - As always we analyse and sometimes over analyse when it comes to ourselves. We are usually our own worst critics (apart from the Mrs). - Today I decided to hit up a few front delt exercises whilst on holiday with the aim of turning these shoulders into boulders 💪🏾 #waterboy
Other than stepping on stage, the other great thing about bodybuilding is the people that you meet 😁 👉🏽 In such a individual and sometimes selfish sport, it’s great when you meet others that have similar mentality as yourself and you can share moments with them that will forever be remembered 💪🏽 👉🏽 I’m sure we would all still be smiling and laughing if we weren’t holding trophies 🏆😄
There will be set backs, times that you feel like you aren't making progress, or you feel unmotivated but don't give up on yourself! Keep focus and remember why you started! #happyhumpday#rememberwhyyoustarted
OFF-SEASON FOCUS __ I have set myself a few goals this off-season in terms of musuclar development. __ ⚫️ More Core maturity. Need to focus on bringing a denser thicker midsection as it’s something that gets lost on stage. Have always had a problem contracting on stage and having that pop, time to refocus and bring that through this off-season. __ ⚫️ Overall density: this will come with time so just playing the long game here. __ ⚫️ Top-band thickness: Chest, Delts and arms will be prioritised in terms of growth and density, something that lags towards the end of the season! __ ⚫️ KEEP my back strength. Something I focussed on last year was my back and it really showed on stage. Now to keep it strong. __ ⚫️ Legs, legs, legs. I want some monsters back, 200kg squat is on the cards for reps this off-season just wait. __ These are my initial goals, I will now set smaller achievable goals to reach these long term goals. Reverse engineer that long term goal to be able to find the best path to reach it. __ Food up, strength is going to fly up 100%. __ #naturalbodybuilding#trainedbyjp
Lean in 2017. Successful cut, proud of my physique at the leanest but most muscular I’ve ever been! Focused on my lats and shoulders and I’m proud of the end results. End of cutting, bring on the bulk! Planning a lean bulk for a year or so, focusing on my chest, shoulders and quads. Forever chasing them calf gains too.
