Walking is so therapeutic, it the gentle movement outside, grounding into the earth with the breath that can be so magical. It is such a simple movement, one that doesn’t require too much focus. However, I think it’s when we choose to be mindful of our posture and the breath that we can truly bring the most benefit. I love my run time but walks and runs serve different purposes for me. Running for me is about releasing energy, reflection & refreshing my mind. Walking for me is more about observing life pass by and all the wonders happening around me. Walks are about moving slow & mindful enough to notice those subtle gems of the day & to appreciate them for what they are 🌸 Walks with @joynerjerky are like a date! They are full of connection, honesty, sharing, love and hand holding.... with my occasional stopping to capture some of life’s precious moments.
Another year, another Simple Things. 12 hours, 10 artists, 1 pizza, 2 shots of espresso, 1 absolute soaking thanks to Storm Brian plus an undisclosed amount of alcohol. Without doubt one of my favourite music events, anywhere. Roll on 2018! 🙌🏼
