Hi everyone! Currently at the airport. So I figured I would make a post to talk about the anxiety I had with squatting and how I got over it.  Just a couple of months ago I was having really frustrating knee problems. My knees would crack on most leg exercises so I basically completely stopping doing leg workouts.  For squats it was really bad and I couldn't find a form that "looked normal" and didn't bother my knees. I also always felt SO weak and that people were judging me.  Recently, I decided to start squatting again. This sounds overly simple, but to get over my anxiety I just forget what people think and do what feels good for my body. I stopped caring about if my form looked weird because that's what felt best on my knees and literally the only way to improve form is by doing the movement.  I also learned that a lot of my "weakness" was mostly in my head. If you tell yourself it's too heavy and that you can't do it, your legs will listen.  So just have complete confidence in what you're doing no matter the weight because that's the only way you will get stronger. If people are caring about the amount of weight you're lifting then they should reevaluate why they are at the gym. Lol  Sorry this was a ramble but I hope it helps, if you also have anxiety about squatting or lifting in general! (Also sorry for this HORRIBLE camera angle)
