Our homemade Chocolate balls - in my family we call them ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญschoggichogele๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญThey are my absolute favorite christmas cookies and ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญMailänderli๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ too ๐Ÿ˜‹ . For the Schoggichogele you need: - 1 egg yolk and 200g sugar (mix it together) - melt 150g dark chocolate and mix it into the egg-sugar mixture - 350g ground almonds - 3-4 tbsp flour - 1 egg white (beat until stiff) Mix it all together and put it into the fridge. Then roll the dough into balls and put it into the ofen (250 degrees) for 3-5 minutes. . L O V E - it’s that time of year again in Australia, all you hear is ‘get that summer body’, ‘Shed for summer’, ‘beach body’, ‘bikini body’, ‘lose the holiday kilos’... why can’t we just love our bodies and the process of being healthy? Why must we promote shredding and and rock hard thighs as the right way to start the coming year... restrictive diets and non-maintainable exercise routines are just a silly way to introduce people to a better life. I’ve done it, I’ve been there, and your mind doesn’t change - Build a foundation of love for yourself and your body, build a healthy relationship and work towards goals that are not only realistic, but maintainable. I’m not saying those goals shouldn’t be abs, do whatever you like! Felt like I’ve been in a bit of an exercise rut this week ๐Ÿ˜ค Struggling for motivation to do my workouts sooo I made my boyfriend basically be my personal trainer for both BBG legs yesterday and Arms today ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸปHaving someone to encourage me and push me made me work so much harder๐Ÿ˜. I love BBG and it’s flexibility, however I sometimes find it hard to motivate myself to workout when I’m by myself. I have always been someone who uses “events” as goals. And though it doesn’t work for everyone, it’s been great for me and helps keep me on track. As I’ve shared before, I took my large goal by vacation and broke it up into monthly goals to make it a little more tackleable (I don’t think that’s a word, oh well ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝ‍โ™€๏ธ). I won’t be where i want to be by Haiti, but that’s okay, I’ll be 7 weeks of work closer than i am now ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ this whole journey is about perspective and I๏ธm finally starting to change mine to be kinder to myself, give myself a break and realize it really is a journey, and you should enjoy the ride.
