Today’s post workout meal 👅 Toast with avocado and egg👌🏻 I did a GVT workout today, and even though it was a short workout, my legs were shaking by the end of it 😉 Unfortunately I’m sick (still or again), so I couldn’t push myself as much as I wanted! But at least I sweated 💦 November and December is usually a time where I’m constantly sick, so I’m used to it🤧 I hope I’m feeling better tomorrow because I’m going to a funeral. Yesssssss. Contentment is not about being satisfied with being stuck. It's being thankful for where you are and all God has blessed you with, but pushing on for more! I have sooooooooo many goals and dreams for this coming year. These next weeks are such a powerful time to reminisce with a thankful heart but also dream and set goals. Are you dreaming?
I have always been someone who uses “events” as goals. And though it doesn’t work for everyone, it’s been great for me and helps keep me on track. As I’ve shared before, I took my large goal by vacation and broke it up into monthly goals to make it a little more tackleable (I don’t think that’s a word, oh well 🤷🏽♀️). I won’t be where i want to be by Haiti, but that’s okay, I’ll be 7 weeks of work closer than i am now 💪🏽👏🏽 this whole journey is about perspective and I️m finally starting to change mine to be kinder to myself, give myself a break and realize it really is a journey, and you should enjoy the ride.
