If ever in Venice, do make sure you take a day trip out to Burano. Burano is a sleepy fishing village famous for its brightly coloured buildings. Families used to paint their homes in bright colors to designate where their family’s quarters ended and a neighbor’s began, as well as to make their homes more visible from the sea. . . While there are touristy parts of Burano, much of it still has the working-island feel that can be hard to find on Venice. Fishing boats still come in at the end of the day with their catch. . . Burano is also famous for its lace making and you'll find some cute little stores with hand crafted lace. And of course, the photo op on this tiny little island is second to none! @bonitarouwit . . &
🌍 📍MALDIVES - ASIA 🇲🇻White sands, blue lagoons and miles of coral reef...this is the Maldives. Whether you want to swim all day or do nothing at all, choosing between 26 different atolls made up of almost 2,000 individual islands may be harder than you think. Nearly every resort here is on its own private island, but we recommend staying just within reach of the nation's capital. Malé offers an insight to the 'real' Maldives through bustling markets and stark contrasts to the paradise that surrounds it. Retreat to the South Ari Atoll for truly some of the world's best snorkelling, then go back to do doing...nothing. 🏖
It's a bit fuzzy, but Justin and I were recently able to take a helicopter ride over Southern Utah! It was incredible and definitely made it close to the top of favorite experiences! ✔️another check on the bucket list! Have you checked off anything recently?!
