The “Underwater Waterfall” illusion at Mauritius Island, cleverly shot & animated by @hobopeeba. The reason for the island’s famous waterfall illusion has to do with local sand and silt deposits that flow through the area and change the color of the water, causing it to appear as if there were an underwater drop-off.
