Kraken slowly taking over the world (actually an octopus in a PVC pipe, use your imagination!) I used a @retra_uwt snoot pointed straight down and a video light from in front/under to fill in the details. F22 on a Nikon D810 made sure the background was black and the foreground crisp. - - - - - #diver #reef #scubadiving #scuba #padi #diving #dive #underwaterphotography #uwphotography #underwater #scubadive #underwaterphoto #paditv #instadive #scubalife #scubadiver #marinelife #underwaterworld #buceo #uwphoto #uw #uwpics #water_of_our_world #uwlife #underwaterpics #instadiving #underwaterphotographer #oceanfun #instadiver

On this structure you will see Orange Cup Coral and Orange Solitary Coral. Cup Coral are vibrant red, orange, and yellow polyp clumps often forming circular mounds. The orange cup coral is believed to be the only species of stony coral introduced to the Western Atlantic. The specie was first recorded in 1943 from Puerto Rico since the early 1950 Cup Coral has been observed in many parts of the Caribbean. This is due to the shipping of goods across different bodies of water, being transferred my boat hulls, and ballast tanks. Colonies of solitary coral are also filter feeders. These colonies are found in small clusters with other cup corals. Theses are typically found hidden from view by ledges, overgrowing organisms and in dark recesses such as caves ceilings. #coralreef #coral #orangesolitarycoral #keylargo #natgeo #nationalgeographic #ocean #life #underwaterphotography #callowayproductions #color #nightphotography #corallife #nova
