How holding down your feelings can make you sick. ____ ➡The next few posts I'll write a bit about how holding down your emotions can make you sick. This is the third post in this series, the first was about what emotions are, the second was about what happens in the body when emotions are held down. In this post I`ll go a bit more detail on how these things might look in real life. ____ ➡When you have a inner process where feeling activate the anxiety system anxiety, the anxiety can show itself in four different ways: _____ ➡1. It can come out as muscle tension. What happens here is that when feelings are activated, the muscles are instantly activated too. So instead of noticing different feelings inside, you`ll notice that your muscles tensing up. This can lead to a lot of different symptoms, like muscle soreness, muscle stiffness, tension headache, chest pain, panic attacks and back ache. _____ ➡2. It can can affect the digestive system. When feelings are activated the person will experience symptoms in the digestive system like diarrhea, constipation, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain and generally an uneasy stomach. So the person never feels the feeling, instead it experiences these symptoms. ____ ➡3. The third way anxiety can come out is by affect you brain, messing with concentration, ability to focus, think, remember or messing with your perceptions giving you tunnel vision, dizziness or problems hearing.  So when feelings are activated, the person never experiences the feelings, instead they will experience problems with thinking, focusing, remembering or perceiving. ____ ➡4. The fourth anxiety channel is muscle weakness, causing the muscles to go weak when feelings are activated. So instead of feeling different feeling they just get weak or paralyzed. ___ ➡So this is a description of the different symptoms that can appear in a process like this. Again I`ll have to underscore that I`m talking about medically unexplained symptoms, that

Swedish winter on the country side. Climate change? Should be frosty and white by now. But even mud, rain and green acres are beautiful in a way.. Photo credit to my son! @tyr_04

DID YOU KNOW THAT THE SCALE CAN BE YOUR ENEMY? - A lot of people use the scale as a tool to measure their progression when it comes to losing weight. But the thing is ... the scale only shows a random number. The scale is kind of stupid. It is blind. It can`t tell the difference between a human being or a rock. And it can`t tell the difference between muscle or fat. - I am not telling you to throw it away. Use it if you want to. If you have a goal weight – that`s totally fine. But I am telling you to be careful. The scale can easily control your emotions – and your life. A random number doesn’t tell you anything about your body. There are more effective ways to measure progression: - Use the mirror. By using the mirror you will see how your body looks. That is more effective than a number on a scale. Because the scale might tell you that you`ve gained weight – but in reality you may have gained muscle and lost fat. - Measure different parts of your body. Measure your waist to see if it`s getting slimmer. Measure other parts like arms, thighs etc. These are better ways to track fat loss than a scale. - Take photos. Progression photos are very popular, and they`re a great tool to see how your body changes over time. It is similar to the mirror, but if you take photos every month or 6 weeks you`ll be able to compare yourself in a better way. - There are many alternatives, many great ways to track your progress. But be careful with scale. It will control your mind if you care too much about the number. Care about how how you feel. Use the mirror, measure different body parts and take photos. Learn to love yourself - and don’t beat yourself up by a stupid number on a scale. . . . . . #aktivhverdag #blibest #personligtreneroslo #motivasjon #personligtrener #treningsglede #aktivejenter #treningsforum #shapeupnorge #kamillepuls #pt_thoresen #styrketrening #sprekhverdag #helårskroppen #kosthold #helseglede #nedivekt #komiform #utno #funkyandfit #myrevolution
