Their menu, or rather bible, is just everything a vegan could dream of. They even had vegan pizza, and raw vegan pizza. What. Moral of the stroy, go to Bali, visit @downtoearthbali, thank me later. ✌🏼
Weren’t we always told that sugar is pretty much the main cause to diabetes? Would you believe me if I told you its not😲 its actually the fat that is found in foods, especially meat😬 as you eat meat or any other foods that are really high in fat, tiny particles of fat start to build up around your muscle cells which results in insulin resistance because the sugar is unable to get into the muscle cells since it is blocked by the fat. So then why doesn’t the American diabetes association inform us on this? And why is it that when you go to their diabetes meal plan on their website, meat is in almost every single meal?! The reasoning for all of that is because the American diabetes association is getting money from huge meat corporations, so they keep their mouth shut🤦🏽♀️ huge shoutout to @wthfilm for teaching me this crazy info! This is why plants are your best friend 🍓🥒🥕🥑🍉🍅
I'm so glad that I saw @plantbasedkirsta posting about this! By far, one of my favorites. I learned so much more about the adverse health effects of meat and dairy and all the benefits of a plant-based vegan diet. Health agencies and government go out of their ways to hide information about what's in our "food" and what it does to us, so I recommend learning as much as you can! Find it on Netflix!
I always feel my best when I start my day off with a bunch of fruits🍌on a side note, the documentary "What The Health" is now out on Netflix!😍 @wthfilm if you want to know why large health corporations still encourage humans to eat meat & dairy products even though they play a huge role in causing cancer & diabetes then watch the documentary! It's seriously so mind opening I was shocked😳 it really makes you think about what type of society we are living in🤔 To make this Acai bowl I just blended a packet of sambazon acai with a frozen banana and topped it with bananas, gogi berries, blueberries, & shredded coconut🍇 (i was gonna add granola but I completely forgot)😂🤦🏽♀️
