There is something so satisfying about fruit. Knowing that something that tastes so sweet was grown from this planet that we live on.🌎With every bite I take, I am consuming earths pure energy🌺 I'm so fascinated by the fact that earth grows these plants that hydrate our cells, fight against diseases, and give humans so many essential nutrients to sustain life! Yet, the "norm" is to consume animal products and foods that are extremely high in chemicals. My dream would be for all of us humans to go back to our roots and just consume the foods that the earth grows for us🌼in that way, we wouldn't be consuming these foods rich in chemicals & fluoride that lower our consciousness. When you focus your diet around plant foods, it brings you to a higher frequency. If you aren’t getting enough calories, you will feel very low in energy and you’ll start to crave foods that contain animal products. As long as you are focusing your diet around a Whole Foods plant based diet then you really don’t have to worry about weight gain. So make sure you’re getting enough calories by eating when you’re hungry and eating until you’re truly full🌺 3. Try out meat and dairy alternatives! This is what helped me when I was first transitioning into a plant based diet. There are so many meat alternatives that taste exactly like meat! for milk, there are so many nut milks that taste better than cows milk. For example, oat milk, hemp milk, almond milk, coconut milk, etc! For cheeses, I’ve seen a bunch of dairy free cheeses in the store! The company “Daiya” makes amazing dairy free Mac and cheese, pizzas, shredded cheese, cream cheese, and yogurt. These are all most likely in your nearest grocery store! One huge ass burrito bowl: lettuce, rice, hot salsa, corn, jalapeño, green onion, siracha, nutritional yeast aaaaand 'BACON'!!!! First time making bacUN from mushrooms and it was a huge success! Liquid smoke literally is the best thing ever invented for vegans you can seriously turn anything into bacon! I like doing it with mushrooms because it gives that meaty texture when cooked😻 EXCEPT no little piggies 🐷 were harmed in the making of this bacon! will never understand why humans still continue to eat animal products where there are a million and one alternatives that taste exactly the same plus better!! Heroes. Capes. You know the drill. Lol  For a long time I'd keep quiet about not drinking because it seemed like a boastful thing to do. But why keep quiet? Who does that help? No one, that's who.  Same for going vegan. Why not tell people? Why not try to help another? Because the benefits are real, and having lived on both sides of the fence in both instances, I can assure you that this is the better side of the fence.  Some will argue that I'm trying to change them. Being "preachy". But that's why in my life I say nothing about sobriety, unless asked.  My social media pages reflect very little of my personal life. This account is actually strictly about living the sober life. With a smattering of vegan stuff thrown in. Facebook is no longer a personal page but a place for me to share my views on living sober and vegan. So if anyone follows me it's because they want to hear about those things.  Who am I to not share? That would be selfish and cruel. So many struggle, and are looking for encouragement and from someone who has been there.  So while "not all heroes wear capes" as I've been so thoughtfully told by someone who thinks differently than I do about drinking and eating animals...I will continue my hero work on these designated pages because my private life is no one's business unless I choose to share it and because all of us are here for a purpose and this just happens to be mine.  That said, if you are struggling with alcohol addiction  and want to stop - please find an #aa meeting to springboard you in the right direction. You can go from there in deciding which quitting modality is for you.  There are so many of us who have made it through - don't feel there is no hope. You just need to talk to the right person. And if you are out here too on your soapbox trying to help the ones who need you, don't let the ones who are asleep try to drag you back to zombie land. Because they will try. You keep doing your magic!! Don't stop whatever you do. We need you!
When people think veganism is restrictive….and I’m over here making soft serve ice cream for breakfast🤷🏽‍♀️😂 but its okay because when I tried going vegan last year i thought veganism was restrictive too. I remember having toast for breakfast and a plate of asparagus for dinner because I just didn’t know what to eat, which made it hard to sustain a plant based diet.
