Happy Friday! Here’s a vegan taco salad with walnut and sundried tomato “meat” I’m so excited to go to yoga right now. It’s been a rough 2 weeks with being sick and having food poisoning but I’m so glad to be back to my routine! I’ve been thinking recently about where I was a year ago. I was the unhappiest I’ve ever been in my life and was using materialistic things to provide me with external validation. These objects were what made me feel “happy” I was so uncomfortable in my own skin that the only thing that made me feel good about myself was wearing those pair of Alexander McQueen shoes and carrying around a Chanel bag. Flash forward to this year, so much has changed. This was the year where I truly found myself and found true happiness. I recently posted my Mercedes up for a lease takeover and I couldn’t be happier. I feel like I’ve moved forward in life and have learned something that yoga always teaches us - the art of non attachment. As the year comes to an end, I’ll continue to reflect on these nuances and see what other things I can slowly improve on. Have you ever had something that seemed so important to you at one point but learning to let it go gave you ease and more happiness?
