Dig in and stretch yourself to new limits. Get uncomfortable. Time for some *real talk*. For the past year I've been battling chronic tightness in my Achilles. Not enough pain to make me stop anything, but enough to know it's there and make me occasionally not want to stand more or walk my dog. I knew I needed to put more effort into stretching, but I was making excuses of being too tired or too busy to do it. A couple weeks ago I started using the strategy of pairing to be more consistent. Now I pair my stretching and PT exercises with evening TV watching. It's working great. I've done it almost everyday, and between that and my new Strength and Stretch workouts I'm seeing some improvement in my pain. I'm putting this out for the world; my goal in another 7 weeks is to be able to do a down dog pose with heels flat in the floor. Hold me to this, social media world!
