AD Packing lunch is a life skill every child should be taught. It's also one less thing for parents to have to do on already busy school nights. Check out the blog to learn five ways to teach your kids how to pack their own lunch with @horizonorganic and @mykingsoopers . #backtoschool#naturalfoods#lunchboxesmadeeasy
As a #momoffour , with two of those being girls, I've had my fair share of my girls #playingdressup with my makeup. While frustrating and messy, it's a good excuse to try new makeup! #lipstick always seems to be a favorite. That's why I was excited to try the #matteshaker from @lancomeofficial through @octoly . So far, I am loving how smooth it goes on and how weightless it feels. I can eat breakfast after applying the matte shaker lipstick, and it still looks great! The color I'm wearing is #yummypink and it's bright without being over powering. I received this product complimentary from Lancôme. All opinions are 100% my own. #gifted#honestreview#octlyfamily#lancomeoctoly#bantheboring Grab yours here: https://www.octoly.com/c/hbkj4/r/hastj
What a week. There's nothing quite like jumping into new routines in the midst of lots of firsts. It's almost been too much for this mama heart. New classrooms, new teachers, a new season. The littlest was sad this morning as she realized she was being left behind while everyone else went to school. While she is in preschool this Fall, it's only for 2.5 hours, two days a week. Change is good, but it can be hard. While the kids seem to be thriving in their new normal, I'm the one struggling to find a sense of normalcy. I'm sure it will come in time. What are some ways you've adjusted your schedule when the littles are in school? Even if it's only for 2.5 hours, two days a week. #motherhoodunplugged#surprisedbymotherhood#momblog#denverblogger#backtoschool#newseasons
'Twas the night before school starts, and all through house all the creatures are stirring but hopefully not a mouse. The backpacks are loaded and the clothes all laid out. Lunches are made while mom and dad are worn out. New beginnings, new teachers, and new friends start the year. You were made for great things. Love well, my dear. While I am far from a poet, I'm meeting tonight with just as many jitters as my littles. Tomorrow is the start of a new season. One that I never thought would arrive, but one that came to quickly. #backtoschool#momblogger#momblog
AD: The day before the race, I wavered between wanting to throw up because of nerves and excitement for my first race. At dinner that night, as I was sitting next to my oldest. She hugged me and told me she would be cheering me on. I looked her in the eyes and half-jokingly asked her if she'd still love me if I didn't finish. Her reply, "Of course I'll still love you, Mommy. But I'll be really disappointed." That moment solidified to me that I wasn't just running this race for fun or for me. I was running this half-marathon for my kids. That medal wasn't just mine. When I crossed that finish line, I was proving to them that hard work pays off. They were seeing it in action, not just hearing the words. #ultrastrongmom#linkinbio
I'm still processing our last trip to #waltdisneyworld . I know that people say don't take kids who are two and younger, but seriously, those were our best trips! This last trip felt rushed, we didn't get to do everything that we had planned, and this is the first trip I had a schedule to stick to so we could fit everything in! 😂 I've been trying to figure out what I would do differently. I think a lot of it had to do with the meal plan and sit down meals. Maybe it was because it was July. 🤦♀️ Never again. Yes, I've said that before. 😂What are you tips for fitting everything in during Disney vacations?
